KARST CRITTERS

The “Mogotes” of Pinar del Rio in Western Cuba have a very unique  fauna.  Climbers and other park users share the area with a number of critters that cannot be found anywhere else in the world. Most of them are small animals but the diversity is huge!

-Be aware of where you step

-Don’t litter

-Do not disturb bird nests or bat colonies

-Minimize impact

-Stick to established trails

-Educate others
